By accessing or using Waycode (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Waycode.

You must be at least 14 years of age to use Waycode. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 14, you are not permitted to register or use the Platform.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your account information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You may not create accounts by automated means or impersonate another person.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Engage in harassment, intimidation, or abuse of other users
• Post hate speech, discriminatory content, or incite violence
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Interfere with the operation of the Platform
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access unauthorized areas
• Scrape, crawl, or collect user data without permission
• Use the Platform for spam, phishing, or deceptive activities
• Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or bans

All users must also follow our Community Guidelines.

You are solely responsible for all content you post on Waycode, including threads, publications, vault resources, study room messages, discussion posts, direct messages, team deliverables, peer reviews, and comments. Your content must not:

• Be misleading, false, or deceptive
• Be clickbait or artificially engaging
• Consist of spam or low-quality content
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Contain NSFW, explicit, or sexually suggestive material
• Encourage self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
• Contain unauthorized commercial advertising or solicitation
• Disclose private information of others without consent
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

Waycode offers a paid subscription called Pro Student, billed on a monthly basis.

Vault resources are file collections attached to publications. Users may upload files and preview images under the following limits:

• Free tier: up to 50 MB per vault file, 2 preview images, 10 MB total preview image size
• Pro Student: up to 256 MB per vault file, 5 preview images, 10 MB total preview image size
• All uploaded files must comply with Content Standards and Acceptable Use policies

Waycode is not responsible for the content of uploaded files. You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload and share each file.

Billing

• Pro Student is billed on a monthly basis
• Payment is charged at the beginning of each billing cycle
• Subscription automatically renews every month unless canceled

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation stops future billing only
• Pro Student benefits remain active until the end of the current billing cycle
• After the cycle ends, your account reverts to the free plan

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our third-party payment processor. Waycode does not store full payment card details. By subscribing, you agree to Dodo Payments' terms for payment processing.

Refund Policy

• Payments are generally non-refundable
• Refunds may be considered only in exceptional cases at our sole discretion

CodeCoin is a virtual reward system on Waycode. It has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency. CodeCoin are earned through platform engagement and may be used for platform features as determined by Waycode. We reserve the right to modify the CodeCoin system, including earning rates, redemption options, or to discontinue it entirely.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of the content you post on Waycode. By posting content, you grant Waycode a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform for the purpose of operating and promoting Waycode.

Waycode IP

The Waycode name, logo, design, and platform code are owned by Waycode. You may not reproduce, modify, or create derivative works without explicit permission.

Waycode respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on Waycode infringes your copyright, please contact our designated agent:

Your notice must include identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material, your contact information, and a statement of good faith belief. We will respond to valid DMCA notices and may remove or disable access to infringing content.

Waycode integrates with third-party services including:

• Dodo Payments — payment processing
• ElasticLake (MinIO, S3-compatible) — file storage
• MongoDB Atlas — database
• Redis — caching, rate limiting, verification codes

Waycode is not responsible for the practices of third-party services. Your use of these services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using Waycode, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

Waycode reserves the right to moderate content and enforce these Terms at our discretion. Enforcement actions may include:

• Setting content to draft or removing it
• Reducing content visibility or reach
• Temporary feature restrictions
• Account suspension
• Permanent account termination (for severe or repeated violations)

Subscription status (including Pro Student) does not grant immunity from enforcement.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Platform ceases immediately
• Your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy
• Content you posted may remain on the Platform in anonymized form
• No refunds will be issued for any pre-paid subscription fees

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Waycode, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chandigarh, India.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
